Ran 5 Miles This Morning

Just wanted to keep up with this blog, great job Kristina! This morning I ran 5 miles at an average pace of 10 minutes. For the SF marathon, I made a personal goal of running at this pace, which would put me at 2 hours and 11 minutes. Things are going well, but haven't had the opportunity to go over 5 miles yet since March 26, the beginning of my comeback tour (Month of March was pretty much a vacation from running due to finals, spring break and daylight savings). Since we will be completely focused on Sunday (no other sports going on), I am excited about maybe hitting 8 miles. Anybody have an idea of where they want to run this Sunday? I am thinking of Mile Square Park since 8 miles would get me twice around. When we do 10.5 we can do Back Bay (following week?) Albert

  1. 10 min goal!? I thought we were aiming for 10:30-11 min pace! dang it...gotta kick up it a notch...I'll run this Sunday if my shin-splint goes away by then!

  2. Definitely thinking Mile Square too. I'll sent out an e-mail since not everyone has replied to the blog invite yet. I was planning on doing a 10 minute per mile pace too but I don't know if I can make that. Vanessa and I were dying at 10:17 minutes per mile two weeks ago. Right now I gonna shoot for the 10:30 - 11 minute range for now and then see if I can bring it down from there.
